It is a brand new tailor specially designed and optimized to work with a motor rather than a cable. The AXS components allow you to personalize the system and stick as closely as possible to the preferences of each cyclist via the AXS application.

Its shortened clevis offers 10 mm more between the tailer and the ground and allows better winding of the chain on the cassette. It can then be fixed more inward and more forward than an Eagle mechanical derailleur.

The Eagle AXS derailleur is smart enough to protect itself on its own thanks to its extremely resistant Overload Clutch function. In the event of an impact, the engine transmission engages and gives the derailer his freedom of movement before returning to position immediately without the cyclist noticing. The system meets the IP69K standard for waterproofing and dustproofing, allowing you to cross streams, cross puddles of mud and perform high pressure cleaning after each outing.
